Hadn’t realised at first but a start from Plymouth at the beginning of June means getting ready quite early in the season particularly given the very cold late spring in Scotland. Matters are further delayed as I’d decided to recover the upholstery which was incredibly time consuming (and only the main cabin done so far), it does look nice but should have paid someone to do it.

There seemed to be a lot of kit that we hadn’t used for the past couple of years that needed fixing or setting up again and transporting to the boat – the poor car made several trips loaded to the roof. We are still trying to set up the Comms with a new computer to link to the SSB and the Sat phone.
